Theatrical masks

Since Café Reason’s 2014 production of
The Heart’s Desire at The Old Fire Station, Oxford, for which I made the Lion and Unicorn masks, I have become interested in this as a creative field.

My aim for the Lion and Unicorn masks, where these creatures represented opposing/complementary spheres of influence, was to combine both human and animal qualities in order to create otherworldly archetypes.
